The number of times I said “aaawwwwww!” out loud while editing Dana and Rich’s wedding photos is countless!  There are so many cute candid moments between the bride and groom and with their family and friends.

The ceremony and reception were held aboard the StarLite Princess- an intimate venue with gorgeous views and a friendly, staff who provided the catering, bartenders, decor, DJ and even the Paddleboat Captain as an officiant.  Here are more amazing vendors who made their day perfect:

Pre-Ceremony Prep: Grand Plaza Hotel
Ceremony and Reception Venue, Catering: StarLite Princess
Bridal Boutique: Meredith’s Bridal
Makeup Artist:  Jess Waldrop
Florist: Lou’s Florist

Loved working with Dana and Rich and so happy the feeling was mutual!  Read what Dana had to say about our coverage here:

And below are just a few of my favorite images~

Andrew and Alicia’s wedding day was the perfect mix of traditional elegance and crazy fun.  After a formal service in an 1800s catholic church, the newlyweds cut loose and were transported by party bus to various portrait locations around Mark Twain Lake.   A few beers and a giant, brightly colored parachute made for fun portraits.   :)

Here are the vendors who made their perfect day and just a few of my favorite wedding photos~

Jonathan and Amey are currently galavanting around Europe on their honeymoon, making me extremely jealous with their Facebook updates!
This couple is constantly laughing together and their wedding day (of course!) was no exception. I’m certain Amey’s face hurt from smiling so much :)

The wedding was perfect– a 60% chance of rain, turned into a cloudless sky right before their outside ceremony at the Front Street Civic Center in Melbourne, Florida. A team of amazing wedding vendors worked tirelessly to make Amey and Jonathan’s wedding day as special as possible. Please visit the links below for more info on some of the best wedding vendors in Central Florida.

  • Rev. Fuller, you were the first officiant I’ve seen do this! From a photographer’s standpoint, it was absolutely wonderful! I do love seeing your redhead and super smile in many of the photos though! Can’t wait to work with you again, you were so helpful and made everything so special!

  • The beautiful photo of their first kiss as husband and wife is precisely why I step out of the way during the Declaration of Marriage. My red head in the background would have completely ruined the shot. Lovely job! You really captured their personalities. I think the tender picture on the dock may be my favorite.

As with anyone bitten by the travel bug, my husband and I have a ridiculously long list of places we hope to will eventually visit.  Every time we check off a destination, we add at least three more.  Somehow though, we often manage to overlook the beauty in places nearest to us.

I was recently commissioned by GO ESCAPE travel magazine to photograph Playalinda Beach in Titusville, Florida for the cover and feature as one of America’s “Secret Beaches.”  When I received a copy of the magazine (after I gawked at the cover), I immediately started flipping through the pages and saying to my husband things like, “Oooh, what about kayaking with belugas? Add Manitoba to our list!”  and “Do we know anyone in Utah??  Look at this photo!” There were so many great travel pieces with loads of information, travel tips, first-person travel stories and stunning imagery.  Our ‘list’ grew even more..

Then I had this realization: Travel editors chose our county to highlight as a cover-worthy destination.  The “secluded sun spot” featured is less than an hour from our house and I hadn’t been there in a year.  Shame on me.  Why drive 45 minutes, when I can drive 10 minutes to the beach?  Brevard County residents are spoiled by so many great beaches.

But there’s something special about the Canaveral National Seashore with its pristine dunes, remarkably blue ocean and lack of condos, hotels and general commercialism.  Its protected landscape is peaceful and beautiful.  I’m glad travel editors decided to share our ‘secret’ beach with their readers.  And I am thankful for the reminder as well.

GO ESCAPE hits newsstands June 15.

  • Great job Amanda! I love the pictures, I will now make it a point to go there. I live in Brevard and have never been there and yes you are right, it’s because we are spoiled with so many beaches only ten minutes away. BTW, congrats on your magazine cover and pictures inside :)
