Meet Amanda
Thanks for visiting my blog! I’m a international editorial and wedding photographer living in Melbourne, Florida with with my amazing husband Aaron Kestner, a very sweet Boxer named Huck and a mischievous orange tabby named Louie.
God has blessed me with a my talent and amazingly supportive friends and family that allow me to have the best job in the world!
Being chosen to photograph one of the most important days of a couple’s lives and capture once-in-a-lifetime moments that can never be repeated is a huge deal! I’m always unbelievably honored when a couple hires me to document their wedding and for most of my clients, it’s only the start of our life-long relationship. I soon become the “family” photographer, documenting births and birthdays, holidays and graduations as well. It’s so exciting!
As a journalist, my photographs are different from other portrait photographers. My images tell a story and capture a person’s personality and family dynamic. When your family looks through your photo albums 30 years from now, the images will inspire a story and make you laugh or cry. Photographs are a part of your family’s legacy, they will be passed down through generations. I don’t want your great-grandchildren just to know what you looked like, but instead photos should give them a sense of who you are.
I do all on-location portraiture- so years from now your children will remember the neighborhood they grew up in, or the tree they used to climb. Traditional backgrounds are available if you would prefer those types of photos too.
